Why Sketch-to-Render Matters

Concept sketches are the most sensitive phase of design work. They show spatial intent, structural logic, and early aesthetic decisions that have not yet been approved or disclosed. Running sketch development through a public AI website creates an unnecessary information exposure.

Preparing Your Sketch

For best results: - Use a flat-on scan rather than a phone photo at an angle - Even light without shadows across the drawing surface - Approximately A4 or letter size sketch at 200 DPI minimum

Hand drawings, digital sketches (tablet or software), and rough layout diagrams all work.

Writing the Prompt

The sketch provides the geometry — your prompt provides the architectural character: - "Contemporary residential villa, Riyadh context, stone and glass exterior, warm evening light" - "Mixed-use tower scheme, contemporary facade treatment, urban context"

Output Refinement

After generating from a sketch, use Re-Render or Material Swap on the output to develop it further. The workflow moves from rough concept to presentation-ready visual inside one controlled Toscape pipeline.
